Putting in Hudud Laws

Assalamualaikum my fellow readers, so I just got back from 'The holy grounds' of Mecca and I learned a few things there other than just praying and shopping. Just as the title says, there in Saudi Arabia, they apply Hudud laws to all their citizens. Meaning, if you kill someone, you'll probably be killed to. To those out there who does not entirely understand what I meant, I was saying that if you commit any crime, the punishment will be really heavy as to make the criminal finally stop what they are doing, strictly speaking, JAIL IS NOT ENOUGH! Plus, in jail they even feed you... Just as how our grandma would always say, "If you steal, I'll cut your hand!" literally. Okay, so here is a situation, what if the person stole because he/she was hungry to death? Will they lose their hand? No. So in any case, before you start punishing, you must first have witnesses that was there when it happened and the witness has to be more than one. Like I said before, you'll get killed yourself if you kill someone, so how will your death be? One way..(pic below)
Yup, OFF WITH YOUR HEADS WITH THAT SCYTHE! Okay, so that's about it on cutting heads. Now we move on to manners... I don't know about the other parts of Saudi Arabia but in Mecca and Medina, you should always give the 'salam' when entering the elevator/buying something/asking something. You don't go like,"hello! Excuse me!" you won't be heard. To my opinion it does sound a little bit rude with that specific tone xD Next, when in a conference or whenever you are talking to anyone, never ever sit like a boss(picture below)
-Basically, you can imagine it right?

If you could think logically, people there wears 'Jubah', so I don't think they'd be able to sit like that anyway.
Lastly, prayer times...and again, maybe it is because of Mecca that they did this but I like it. So, you are in a shopping mall when suddenly you heard an announcement saying something like,"we will be closing our shop now for solah..." yes, I repeat, MALL. Usually it would only be the small shops but not there. The whole shopping mall will immediately close down their shops for a while just as soon as the adhan summons and continue their daily business when they're done with their prayers.
It would be nice if all Islamic countries are like that...ini tak, kata negara islam tapi kilang arak terbesar kat situ. Haih semoga Allah memberi petunjuk dan jalan yang benar, ameen.

Why didn't anyone woke me up!!?

 http://disciplegideon.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/freedom.jpg

Assalamualaikum & a very good morning readers out there,
Yeah, I know, the title. Well, as you can see, I'm not going to school today because I FREAKING OVERSLEPT!!! I mean, I literally didn't sleep last night because I was finishing my tons and tons of 'New Year's Homework', yes, I did them all in just one night when I should be doing it within the week...I know, I'm just that much of a badass :p So yeah, I finished them all and decided to have a five minute rest because it was already 5am and since I heard my dad getting ready and all, I was hoping he would wake me up just in case I slept more than 5 minutes but NO. When I woke up, it was already quarter past 8. So I just lie there, thinking of how lifeless I am...if only I knew I'd overslept, I wouldn't have to finish all my home works last night T_T But lucky for me, I've finished every single one of them and I got a day off today, so... I bet you know what that means xD. Oh and by the way, not to be boastful but I'm going to Mecca & Medina again soon this 9th February to perform my Umrah but this time; no relatives(except for my uncle, but I don't get along well with my aunt and uncles), Leman is coming and dad. Ok about dad, you see, we haven't talk since...umm, I don't remember but it was quite a long time because well, he didn't even come home. He just came to pick up a ladder and he's out again. Not to mention he...entahla...I better not talk too much about this(nak pergi Umrah ni oi!) but I'm pretty sure that's the reason he didn't wake me up because he didn't care whether I'm going to school or no. But I really want to go to school today to proudly hand in all the works that I've done so that I don't have to ever look at it again! Well, huzzah to me for being such a badass and do wish me a safe journey to the sacred grounds, Ameen...
